What is the EMC?
The Enabling Mobility Center is a facility open to persons with disabilities, their families, independent living specialists, healthcare professionals, researchers, engineers, vendors, and the general public.

Mission:
Improve the quality of life and increase community participation

Paraquad and Washington University are collaborating together on a research project through the National Institute on Disability Research and Rehabilitation entitled, “Assistive Technology in the Community”.  The project opened its own facility referred to as the Enabling Mobility Center (EMC). The EMC has assistive technology resources and demonstrations open to the public.
