Background:
Dr. Hollingsworth is a Research Assistant Professor in the Occupational
Therapy Program at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
He provides measurement, statistical, statistical software, and data analytic
support of faculty and student research. He is the statistician on a research
project that has developed an assessment tool for capturing the participation
of individuals with mobility limitations, including SCI, on major life
activities. The assessment battery allows for a measure of the influence of
environmental facilitators and barriers on participation by people with
mobility limitations. This project is funded by the Centers for Disease
Control, of which Dr. Gray is the principal investigator. His research
interests are primarily in the application of multivariate statistical and
modeling techniques, such as structural equations and neural networks, and to
the research areas of occupation and rehabilitation where cognitive mechanisms
are evaluated. Dr. Hollingsworth received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Mathematics from San Francisco State College, a Master of Arts in Mathematical
Statistics and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Applied Statistics from the
University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. |
